Adorable Mid Century Ceramic Squirrel Figurine Made in Japan

This sweet little ceramic squirrel comes from Japan (circa 1950s-1960s). He measures 4" tall by 2 1/4" long by 1" wide. He has some paint wear- especially on his face. There is a flea bite on his tail, but it is under the glaze (perhaps more of a production flaw). The very tip of his tail has a spot of paint loss and feels like it might be a flea bite as well (noted in photos). He's just a cute little guy to have around!
