1980's Black Imperial Slag Glass Venus Rising Figurine is a rare and beautiful collectible which can enhance anyone's home decor. Venus' coloring is black with pink, blue and white swirls. This statue has the silhouette of Cambridge Glass's Bashful Charlotte. She was produced in the 1980's by Imperial Glass. The makers mark is located on the bottom which is IG 81. Good vintage condition no chips or cracks Venus was the goddess of love, beauty, fertility, prosperity and victory. She was the Roman counterpart to the Greek goddess Aphrodite. Dimension 3.25" W x 7"H
