Signed by the original hobbiest-LaVona-in 1976. This does have a distinctive glossy Christmas tree green glaze, molded boughs heavily accented w/ white "puff" paint-or flocking. There are smal multi-colored plastic bulbs that light up from a central internal bulb on the base. Highly coveted and collectible pieces. The base is beautifully detailed with etched and raised scrolls. Some actually put music boxes within the base instead of a lamp. OF NOTE: the tippy top of the tree was not designed or cut out for a "Christmas Star or finial". I have been unable to find any call outs, chips or cracks. It is in excellent vintage condition. There is one missing small colored plastic bulb. These can be found on line for replacement. The little bulbs are removeable. I will be taking them out and placing in a baggie to protect the tree while shipping. Bulb will be removed and packed separately from tree, as well. This will ship by itself. On the base the tree measures 17". Base diameter 8 1/2", 5" 5 1/2" H, Tree w/o base is 14 1/2"H, Diameter at largest point on tree is 12". Pre shipping total wt is approx. 4 Lbs 4 Oz
