1947 XLVII Rookwood 6510 Art Deco Vase: Moth Butterfly Design, Signed Pottery Blue Glazed

The Charlie B Gallery of Carson City, Nevada is offering this 1947 Cincinnati Rookwood vase for sale. This vase has a primary thick powder blue color, where you can just note some of the underlying design. Signed with Rookwood mark XLVII and 6510---there is an incised 7 which might indicate a type of size for the 6510 mold. I do not detect any chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. There is factory crazing with some light marks from use over the surfaces. Factory stilt marks are found at the foot. This vase has a subtle ring---this feels so good in the hands and presents nicely!! All fragile merchandise is shipped using the "double box" process. 5.125" tall by 3.25" wide
