1910 Taschenliederbuch Für Christliche Sänger Antique German Baptist Hymnal
Compact early-20th-century 1910 German Baptist choir hymnal with full musical notation, produced by the noted evangelical publisher Oncken. Fifth, enlarged edition; portable format for mixed choir use. Nice artifact of German free-church music culture with provenance to the Steglitz Baptist choral society. Church stamp from Gesangverein der Bapt.-Gemeinde Steglitz and a dated 1911 gift inscription. Issued for the Nordwestliche Vereinigung of the Christlicher Sängerbund deutscher Zunge. Some minor wear to cover. No rips or tears to pages noted. A few small spots on pages. It does appear that the binding has been repaired based on the presence of what looks like binding tape.
